Pelorus Island Hybrid Dingo Status

March 2018

After some lengthy research into requesting information about the status of the Pelorus Hybrid Dingo’s released on Pelorus Island Northern Queensland in an attempt to cull a number of goats, our group was hand balled to many different government departments and a local government over at least a 4 month period, we have since learned that the Hybrids are no longer on the Island.

Within 14 days of an order going out to remove the Hybrids, we are led to believe by the Hinchinbrook Shire that both Hybrids have since been destroyed.
